Simplistic

Top: Target
Skirt: Walmart
Sweater: Forever 21
Flats: Cotton On

Today is going to be short and sweet. I honestly don't know how this outfit came together, but it didn't turn out too shabby if I can say so myself. It is still so weird for me to wear flats, but sometimes it is just completely necessary.
Cheers to Tuesday!

Dress for Success + Damier Ring Giveaway

Blazer: H&M
Shirt: Express
Pants: Express

I don't really talk about my full-time job a lot, but there are lots of changes going on in the company right now and lots of new jobs and positions becoming available. I had an interview this day... I chose to wear red and black because they are power colors. Normally, I like to wear fun dresses and skirts to work, but I needed to bring my A game to the interview.

I like to buy my dress clothes from Express if you haven't noticed. Express's dress shirts and pants have a nice tight fit to accentuate a woman's body features and they wash up really nice. So the next time you are looking for a new suit or dress pants keep Express in mind!

Lime Green and Leopard

Skirt: Forever 21
Heels: H&M
Headband: Cotton On
Purse: Michael Kors

I have this weird obsession with tops that zip and button up the back. I know it's a weird quarky thing I look for in clothing, but I think it adds a fun twist. So, you could imagine how excited I was when I found this peter pan collar top from Forever 21 that buttons up the back. If you ever see any fun tops like this please think of me...
And how about this fabulous Michael Kors bag I found. I am loving boxy and square purses right now. It is so much easier to organize all of my goodies.

Floral & Leather

Floral Sarong: H&M
Leather Skirt: H&M
Mustard Scarf: ShawtynStilettos
Necklace: ShawtynStilettos
Heels: Forever 21
Coat: H&M

This is the perfect and typical business casual outfit for me. I am loving wearing slouchy t-shirts under vests, cardigans, and more. I am pretty sure I am going to collection them in every color. If you are looking for nice slouchy casual shirts check out Cotton On. They are already super cheap, but then they constantly have 30% off deals.

Sassy Work Attire

Bow Sweater: Forever 21 (old)
Skirt: Walmart
Heels: Forever 21

My job requires me to dress up in business casual attire everyday. Sometimes I feel like I have to do a little creative dressing to look fashionable, stay in dress code, and still mix my outfits up. Does anyone else have this issue?

Even though I love showing off my more casual style I thought it would be helpful to show you what I wear to work to give you some ideas if your job requires you to dress business casual.

I have a routine when I pick my work clothes each day. I will pick a pair of bottoms I want to wear and then find a top that matches and then accessorize with shoes, jewelry, and sweaters from there. One thing to remember if your top isn't work appropriate you can always find a sweater or jacket to put over it. These are just a few things I have found helpful to get me dressed for work everyday!

Falling Leaves

Happy Saturday! I hope you are as lucky as I am to have the day off today. I am spending the day with my darling husband.

I always love an outfit or article of clothing that you can wear with multiple things or multiple ways. I wanted to show how I would wear this classic polka dot shirt for a casual day out and to the office.

Isn't fall gorgeous here in Utah? This park is breath taking with all of the fallen leaves and colors. I am trying to soak up every minute of fall before the snow really starts to fall.
