Long Over Due

Hi lovelies! This post is long over due. It has been sitting as a draft for weeks now. I have been a total slacker between packing up our house to move in with my parentals and my new obsession with Breaking Bad. Oh I love this outfit so much. First, let's start with the polka dots. It's no secret I am a polkaholic. There is just something about polka dots that make me so happy. It has taking me starting a fashion blog to realize I have lots of polka dots in my closet. Oh and let's talk about the oomph  this dress just wouldn't be complete without the petti coat slip under the dress. It gives the dress such a fun shape. I can't wait to wear it again under something else. I know I look like something out of the 4th of July parade, but the shoes were a must!

I had to laugh we were taking pictures in front of these old vintage shops when we got this little visitor. He wanted to hang out while we took pictures. He made me smile! Happy Day followers.

Does this dress not remind you of something out of Pretty Woman? I promise I just needed a floppy hat and I would be ready for a polo match. I found it at Buffalo Exchange when I was in Las Vegas. It was a little more than what I typically like to spend on dresses, but if you could only feel the fabric it was money well spent. The dress hangs so nice and the material is pretty heavy plus it has polka dots on it - need I say more?

If you have never heard of or been to Buffalo Exchange I highly suggest you look up the location nearest you. It has the most fabulous and unique finds.

Happy Polka Dot Day! I know the high/low hemline has done it's time, but I am loving this black and green polka dot top combined with these leggings. This top is going to be so stinking cute in the summer paired with some frayed shorts and flip flops. I love things that can be worn no matter what season it is.

On a side note is it me or are some of the new trends kind of already been there, done that? I have been to a few stores in the past week to find some fun new things, but nothing has sparked my fancy. If you know of some fun new fashion lines please share... I am at a lost for creativity or something.

Creative Dressing + Giveaway Winner

I love every bit of this polka dot dress right down to the bows on the shoulder, but it is one of those dresses that isn't very comfortable to sit in because it rides up all day. So, I decided to play a little creative dress-up. I  found this tulle bandeau dress in my closet I got from Forever 21 years ago and wore it under the polka dot dress like a slip. Then I wrapped it all about with this fabulous bow belt from H&M. It is so fun to layer your clothing to create a different look plus with it getting chilly outside the more layers the better!
