As much as I always try to grow out my hair and think I am going to have long barbie doll locks it's just never going to happen. Partly because I don't have the patience to grow it out and two I think short hair is just more fitting with my face and features. I decide to go with a super sleek and classic pixie with the ear tuck. The fun part about having short hair is jazzing up outfits with a fun statement necklace and earrings.

Hey Sailors! Pink is a hot color this year and I am pulling out all of the stops with this outfit. Plus I am desperate to brighten the smoggy days we have been having with this inversion. I thought the stripes and sailor pants were a nice touch and doesn't this wood bauble necklace scream I need this! I love the combination of pink and leopard. I hope you have a great weekend. I am not quite sure what you call this outfit except pure lazy and comfiness. Plus I needed an excuse to wear and break in my new hiking boots. My hubby and I love hiking in the mountains in the summer and we both decided to give in and splurge on some new hiking shoes. We are so excited to go hiking and camping this summer. I am pretty sure I could live in these shoes if they were fashionably acceptable. They are like little pillows on my feet. They are wonderful!

Band T-shirt

ShawtynStilettos just got some adorable new headbands, hand warmers, and beanies. I was so excited to show them off. My Aerosmith Band T-shirt couldn't have matched the accessories any more perfect.

I found this quote today on Pinterest and it is so true I had to share. When my husband was taking my pictures for this shoot I told him there is something about wearing these flat boots that just don't make me feel sexy or confident. It's amazing how a pair of high heels can lift your self esteem and attitude. What transforms you?

Can I tell you how much fun I had doing this photoshoot? I kept getting caught in the grass and could not stop laughing plus it didn't help my heels kept sinking into the ground. Even though I gained about 5 pounds while we were in Vegas I still managed to fit into these ridiculously adorable leggings from H&M and have I mentioned I am obsessed with collars. ShawtynStilettos just got a bunch of new fun and different jewelry including this collar necklace. I could not wait to wear it!
