Vegas

Wes and I took one of our annual Vegas trips. It was so nice to leave snow for a few days and take in some sun rays and warm weather. We seriously didn't do anything but eat yummy food, enjoy quality time together, and walk around taking in all of the sites. 

The first night we were there we stayed at Hooters Hotel. That was an adventure! Let's just say it was our first time staying there and probably our last. The other two nights we stayed at The Palms in their new Palms Place. It was so nice and modern. They upgraded us to a suite on the 37th floor with a view of the strip. It was so beautiful at night. 

As many times as I have been to Vegas I have never experienced the aquarium at Mandalay Bay. If you ever have an opportunity I highly suggest going. It was awesome. My favorite was seeing the komodo dragon. I could have watched that character all day. One of our nights out on the town we stopped in to the Boot Barn. Wes got him a new pair of Ariat cowboy boots. He looks like a sexy beast and rock-star in them. 

It was so hard to come back home to a snow storm... but after a fabulous vacation it is always nice be back home!
